This solution applies to ImgLinker v1.x to v2.0. If you are using a

newer version, this bug will not apply.

If you are using a custom permalink structure on your website, you may encounter

a 404 error when you try to test your first ImgLink.

To fix this, simply follow these steps. (You only have to do this once for each installation )

Step #1: Head over to your Admin Menu -> Settings -> Permalinks

Step #2: And click the "Save Changes" button.

Done.

You just have to do this once for each site, after installing ImgLinks.

The error get's triggered, because the htaccess file was not updated by

Wordpress.

Future versions will not have this issue.

Thank you for you patience.

Best Regards,

Ash
